The new decor is perfect. Hip, trendy farmhouse feel. The staff was very efficient on a snowy day. To make it a perfect morning, the food was exceptional! Thanks First Watch Team! BTW the restrooms were clean which also tells a lot about their cleanliness and attention to detail.

I've been to most of the First Watch Restaurants in the area, but I like this one those most for it's speedy service and great food. This is quickly becoming my favorite breakfast spot. My favorite is the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Plate. This location is always busy for a reason, the service is great and we rarely wait more than a minute before being seated.

Good food, fast service and a very long wait.. that about sums up First Watch for me. I don't often leave the house early enough for breakfast but when I do this place is super convenient to my house. I know I can take out of town guests there for a good filling breakfast before sending them on their touristy way. It's not super fancy but once you're seated the food comes out quickly (impressive considering how packed it is). The wait can be up to an hour with the Church crowd but you can time your visit to work around that. My favorite is the bacado omelette.. combining three of my favorite things: bacon, avocado and eggs. Comes with either potatoes and english muffin but I always sub out wheat toast.

Came here for breakfast after someone recommended it. We were seated in less than a minute and service was fast, we had our meals less than five minutes after ordering. Waitress are pretty too, we didn't come for that but it was a nice surprise, especially a young redhead with blonde streaks. I did notice some groups coming after us had a short wait for a table to become available but if you want a great breakfast quickly and you're tired of fast food try first watch.

Hands down one the best breakfast places I've been too, franchised or otherwise. We visited the Creve Coeur, MO location on back to back days as we were so impressed with the first day. There was a little bit of a wait each day (Sat & Sun morning) which was understandable. They will text you when your table is ready if you provide a number. However once we got our table the staff was very nice and quick. Ticket times on the food is extremely fast as well. Everything on the menu sounded great and it was really hard to decide. Between the two days we tired the Elevated Egg Sandwich (this is a Spring seasonal item I think), Eggs Benedict Florentine style, Belgian Waffle, and the Acapulco Express Omelet. All were very good with the Egg Sandwich being the best out of them all. Overall it was a great breakfast experience. Restaurant was clean, staff was nice and quick, and the food was amazing! We will definitely be going back next time we are around one.

The food is serviceable and quick, and the presentation is good, though not bursting with flavor. I'm not a fan of the coffee, which I find overly acidic and lacking body and flavor that I like. I typically drink my coffee black and unsweetened, but here I add a flavored creamer to make the drink palatable. On the upside, the service is always friendly and prompt, with some quirks. For instance clearing the table after the meal is spotty. Also, one server told me I could pay her or up front, and I prefer to pay my server so that I can finish my coffee as I wait. On the next visit and another server, I was told that I had to pay at the register. What causes me to eat here, instead of some other local spots is that First Watch provides free wifi, which more and more becomes the tiebreaker.

Sub-par. I started going to FW many years ago in Overland Park KS. They were, and still are great, as far as I know. Caps etc. should be served hot with gooey cheese. Hash browns should show signs of brown and served hot, as well. An over easy egg should be easy for a breakfast restaurant. If the cooks at this location aren't sure how the items are to be made.... call Overland Park, KS.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this restaurant yet! My boyfriend and I eat here all the time. Their food is always fresh and served exactly as you ordered it. Their fresh juices and coffee are wonderful. The waitresses and hostesses are so friendly and I love that they use the no wait app. So the boyfriend and I can get in line from the house. They're always very busy weekend mornings. Any of their eggs Benedicts are fantastic. My boyfriend always gets something with their gravy or atleast a side of it because it's that good!

First Watch is a breakfast lunch franchise. I have eaten at another of their locations and they are consistent. I went on a Friday in lent and wanted to order something other than pancakes. So I had to eggs over medium, fried potatoes, and whole wheat multi-grain toast. They only serve jelly in a little cup. I like to slather jelly all over my toast. In fact I like toast to be more jelly than toast. But it was hard to get more than two slices slathered in jelly. Oh well. As for the rest of breakfast it was just fine. How can you mess up eggs and potatoes?

What a great example of a chain that totally changed its look and menu. I would avoid going here with the dated ambiance and bland menu. Now, the new selections are fabulous, including the healthy & tasty juices. Just love the seasonal avocado on whole wheat toast with poached eggs. The decor is also much nicer and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

OK, it is a chain, and it is breakfast for lunch so I was not expecting much. Boy was I ever surprised. Both my wife and I had wonderful lunches, served fast and by a super server who was tipped for her excellence. Yes, the sausage gravy came out just warm, but a simple notification to the waitress and a large bowl of steaming hot gravy (no doubt out of a microwave, but who cares how they did it since it steamy hot), came flying back to my table. Everything was quite tasty, the eggs properly cooked. My wife had two wraps which she enjoyed very much. It is not the Ritz, but the prices are reasonable, the restaurant is spotless and the food is very tasty. The gravy was a bit too salty.

I'm impressed for a franchise! Service was extremely friendly, place was clean, and the interior is nicely done. My only feedback is the hash I ordered was incredibly salty. Like, can cause hypertension and high blood pressure salty. Overall, I'd come back if I'm in town.

My fiance and I visited this First Watch location for the first time this morning (we generally visit the Mid Rivers location) and we were BEYOND impressed! The service was perfect... and considering we are both seasoned servers/bartenders thats saying a lot! Our food came out hot and in less than 8 minutes, we ordered the power wraps for the first time and they were incredible! I would recommend this location and company as a whole to anyone!!!

Great fresh breakfast food. Server Stephanie was excellent and helpful with recommendations. Broad menu with something for everyone. Would definitely go again.

After a long night of catching up with Michael Jackson, various characters from Breaking Bad, Captain America and Iron Woman, my friend and I needed some good o' American breakfast to hit the spot. First watch seemed to fit that bill. The little diner sat in a small plaza and the atmosphere was homey, welcoming and fairly clean. I opted for the pumpkin pancake breakfast combo, while my friend got the traditional breakfast (toast, eggs, bacon). The service was quick and food arrived within minutes. However the food tasted just average. The pumpkin pancake was meh with no stellar flavor. The chicken sausage was decent, though a bit greasy. The eggs (sunny side up) had also too much grease, while the seasoned potatoes (side order) were disappointing. The potatoes were mushy with an unbalanced infusion of onions. Overall we were glad to stop by and get breakfast food from first Watch, but it'll probably take another long Halloween night for us to come back.

The food here is consistently fresh and delicious, the service quick and efficient even when crowded (which they always are). If you like eggs this is the place to be--you can't go wrong with the Veg'd Out omelet. Had this recently with a side of potatoes and a large orange juice and that is about the healthiest breakfast I have had in a long time (I am not a big breakfast person). Everything was fresh and tasted great. Have been to the Clayton location several times and now this location and the experience has been consistently good. Great place to go with a large group for brunch or lunch.

This was my first visit to a first watch. Our family is in St. Louis for Memorial Day weekend. A highway sign read, voted best food, so we thought great! We're hungry, let's go! Upon entry into the restaurant, carpet is stained, food and paper on the floor. We were still thinking about the good food....the wait was short. The staff is friendly. We order, food arrives very fast! I ordered the meal with eggs, pancake, and bacon. Everything came out as ordered. We have 4 kids, 3 out of the four ate everything they ordered. The forth has food allergies so he's picky anyway. All in all, the experience wasn't a negative one. Best food? I've had better.

It was almost time for vacation, and we had just finished the final appointment for doctoring, bloodwork, and annual preventive care. What does John H. do after weeks of healthy eats to make sure his blood profile looks like that of a 30-year-old? He goes to BREAKFAST! And, since it was a weekday, he actually could get into FW without a long wait. Nutritional information available online made it possible to temper my decadent inclinations, and tailor breakfast to the ideal level of fatty tastiness for the occasion. I love it when I get a pitcher of pretty-good coffee, and the server keeps checking to see if I need more. From order to table, I think our dishes took about five minutes, and the eggs over easy were just right.

I've been here a few times. Not a big fan of their potatoes. It would be nice to add hash browns to their selection. Alittle pricey as well. Service was great though!

Came because of my awesome fellow Yelpers. - you rock! Service was faster than the regular- fair Mexican restaurants. Our waitress, Stephanie was at nothing below jogging while being super attentive and so nice. Giving her plus 20%. ;). A lot. This is why the waiting line time is so short. Food, Chickenchanga and Parma Hash, was original, fresh and tasty. However, not worth the 45 minute drive across the Mississippi to get here. Worth it for when we are in the neighborhood. We were. Ambience was ok. Seen too many restaurant improvement shows to know they need to ditch the carpeting. Priced were fair.
